This is Athena and Fyedka's first litter together. It's Athena's second litter in total. This little babies are 5 days old! They're starting to get a little more adventurous, the one baby crawled outside and managed to get his head stuck in the bottom of the cage! Fortunately Athena let me get him out and didn't attack me. She was very worried and started licking him while I was getting him lose.
These little babies all have such beautiful caramel and tort colors. Unfortunately this morning we lost one. He was away from the others and I think he just got too cold through the night.
This bunny is broken caramel. I'm really hoping this one's a girl that I can keep! I absolutely love the caramel color in bunnies! In that back you can see another broken caramel bunny. That one is a little smaller than the rest and I hope it's going to make it! Yesterday my mom and I brought it in and gave it some formula. I'm not sure if it's a peanut or just not getting as much milk as the others. Tomorrow morning I'm going to bring it inside and give it more formula. I really want this little guy to make it!!
There they all are! Snug as bugs in rugs! :)
Here's their sweet mama! She's been so insanely good with her babies and with me! She lets me look at her babies and even let me save her baby from the wire yesterday. All she did was sniff my hand and lick her baby, she luckily didn't attack me. She's a very good mama. She has a very calm and sweet disposition, and hopefully that wonderful characteristic will be passed on to her babies! :)
Thanks for checking out my post!
