Muffin

I thought I would start out my very first post on this blog by talking about my very first rabbit, Muffin. Muffin was my incredibly sweet autistic bunny. The people we got her from left her mother (Elsa) and her father (Olaf), who were brother and sister, in their cage together, they had a litter, and Muffin was born. Since her parents were so closely related she was always a little off. She would nibble a little and when we put her in a run she would start digging immediately even if someone was watching unlike the other bunnies. All the biting aside, she was always my personal favorite rabbit.

We tried breeding Muffin a couple of times, and she didn't have any litters. We thought she was barren, but then we tried one last time, and she had a litter of two beautiful brown kits!

My sister has had a rabbit business since 2012. I had always helped feed and water the rabbits, but never had my own rabbit, until Muffin.

I would hold muffin constantly, and every time she would try and eat my clothes! But she was a very sweet girl.

All of her siblings were also a bit off, I think they were all autistic. They all had pleasant personalities though and we're all really adorable.

The strange thing with her was that she was a Holland lop that had the features of a Mini lop!

Unfortunately I sold Muffin in 2018. I have missed her ever since! If I could get her back I would take her in a heartbeat. She was truly the kindest bunny I have ever seen. Her owners are so very lucky to have such an amazing rabbit!

Thanks for checking out my post!
