Went to York PA this morning and picked up these two Hollands from a breeder. They are very well behaved, they were kept well, and they are absolutely gorgeous.
First up we have Callisto. She is a BEW with piercing blue eyes. I've been looking for a BEW or REW for a while now, I would love to have those genetics. She is very sweet and fully litter trained. She is 3 months old, I will probably be breeding her with Galileo in Spring of 2020.
Last but not least we have Galileo. He has one pure blue eye, one pure brown eye. He's a Siamese Sable with one fully booted foot. When my sister raised rabbits with me we had one Siamese Sable mutt, but that's the only one I've ever had besides Galileo. He is also 3 months old, but totally unrelated to Callisto so I will be able to breed them. I love this coloring and was so excited when I saw him and Callisto for sale. They were a little far, but it was well worth the drive!
All my Hollands so far have blue eyes. I'm excited to start breeding them all and seeing all the different color combinations I get. My blue eyed blue female just had a litter of 7, it'll be exciting to see which ones have blue eyes and see how their colors turn out as they get older! I'm so excited to welcome Galileo and Callisto to my rabbitry.
